I am running WIN7 Home Prem. 64bit 12Gb RAM with 1Tb HD free and have never had issues running SpybotS&D in the past with this machine. I have also not made any changes to my up to date Norton Anti-virus as well. The recent MS updates were installed this past week. Tonight [08/21/12], I tried opening Spybot and it takes approximately 3-5 minutes to open. I discovered this after having multiple instances open after 5 minutes because i thought i double clicked or mis-clicked when initially trying to open the program. I then timed the opening of the program [as administrator] and founded this extended time of 3-5 minutes. I have rebooted several times with no change. Now, once the program opens, it runs perfectly fine. Everything updates and i ran "check for problems" with no problems to fix and everything appears to be Immunized as it is supposed to be. Anyone else experiencing this new behavior?
