snap.do removal

Hi,

I can't get rid of this piece of malware. They claim for it to be some sort of browser assistance, its not its just a pain in the ass and I never asked for it to be installed. Not really sure how it got to my computer.

Anyway to this stage I've tried the following:

Add/Remove programs removal (doesn't work as not listed)
Windows Install Clean Up Utility (doesn't work as not listed)
Spy Bot Search and Destroy (latest definitions, doesn't find it)
Malware Bytes (latest version, doesn't find it)


I've got Windows XP SP3 and its affecting all browsers IE8, Firefox (latest) etc.

What can I do?

In case you missed it please see the FAQ which includes guidelines for this forum and instructions in post #2 on how to provide the preliminary DDS/aswMBR logs used for analysis.

Then you'd need to start a new topic providing the logs requested so a volunteer analyst can advise when available. :)
