Ok I have scanned and removed a bunch of spyware with spybot and adaware, but i still believe that i am infected because when windows starts a dialog box from a program called "RUNDLL" pops up and says a module cannot be found and when i connect to the internet another dialog bod comes up from "Project 1" and says something cannot be found. I also get random pop ups from ie even though I only use firefox.
I thought about shutting down some of these startup items using msconfig, but that isn't included in Windows 2000...
