Sorry to have to welcome you back, sounds like the Vundo trojan. They have learned how to hide it from HJT but Winfixer is the clue. You also have the installer and it can be hard to get rid of. Let's start like this.

How to make files and folders visible:
Click Start > Open My Computer.
Select the Tools menu and click Folder Options.
Select the View Tab. Under the Hidden files and folders heading, select Show hidden files and folders.
Uncheck: Hide file extensions for known file types
Uncheck the Hide protected operating system files (recommended) option.
Click Yes to confirm.
Click OK.

Please download ATF Cleaner by Atribune
http://www.atribune.org/public-beta/ATF-Cleaner.exe
Save it to your Desktop. We will use this later.

Open HijackThis and choose "Do a system scan only" then check the box in front of these line items:

(the R1/R0 are opptional, click them to see where they go. They are not making your browser run better and you can still set any startpage you wish in your browser, your call)

R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Default_Page_URL = http://www.dell.com/ap/ap/en/gen/default.htm
R1 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Default_Page_URL = http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=54729
R1 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Default_Search_URL = http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=54896
R1 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Search Page = http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=54896
R0 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Start Page = http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=55245&clcid={SUB_CLCID}
R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Connection Wizard,ShellNext = http://www.dell.com/ap/ap/en/gen/default.htm

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [NI.UWA6P_0001_N91M1807] "C:\WINDOWS\Downloaded Program Files\UWA6P_0001_N91M1807NetInstaller.exe" -nag

(if you know why this advanced option is set you can leave it)
O11 - Options group: [INTERNATIONAL] International*

Close all programs but HJT and all browser windows, then click on "Fix Checked"

RIGHT Click on Start then click on Explore. Locate and delete these items:

C:\WINDOWS\Downloaded Program Files\UWA6P_0001_N91M1807NetInstaller.exe <<< delete that file(understand this is your Winfixer installer and it must be deleted. All files and folders are unhidden so search for it until you find it, it may not be in C:\WINDOWS\Downloaded Program Files\ )

Run ATF Cleaner
Double-click ATF-Cleaner.exe to run the program.
Click Select All found at the bottom of the list.
Click the Empty Selected button.
Click Exit on the Main menu to close the program.

Thanks to Atribune and any others who helped with this fix.

Double-click VundoFix.exe to run it.
Click the Scan for Vundo button.
Once it's done scanning, click the Remove Vundo button.
You will receive a prompt asking if you want to remove the files, click YES
Once you click yes, your desktop will go blank as it starts removing Vundo.
When completed, it will prompt that it will reboot your computer, click OK.
Please post the contents of C:\vundofix.txt and a new HiJackThis log in a reply to this thread.Note: It is possible that VundoFix encountered a file it could not remove. In this case, VundoFix will run on reboot, simply follow the above instructions starting from "Click the Scan for Vundo button" when VundoFix appears upon rebooting.

Thanks...pskelley

First I wish to apologize, it appears I did not give you a link for Vundofix. I want us also to be able to see it is the HJT log. There was a file that could not be deleted and I don't know if it was an old Version of Vundofix or the old versions of Java you were using? Make sure you have uninstalled all version of Java but the new one. Then delete any Vundofix that you have installed and follow these instructions:

1) Return to here: C:\Program Files\Hijackthis\HijackThis.exe
Rename this to C:\Program Files\Hijackthis\analyze.exe

2) Upload the file that could not be deleted to the following link to be sure Atribune has it:
C:\WINDOWS\system32\mljgh.dll <<< file to upload
http://www.uploadmalware.com/ <<< upload link
This is the topic: http://forums.spybot.info/showthread.php?t=6690

3) Use this information: http://forums.spybot.info/showthread.php?t=4394
Start here in the instructions: VundoFix by Atri

4) Make sure you use this download: http://www.atribune.org/public-beta/VundoFix.exe and then post this information for me.

Please post the contents of C:\vundofix.txt and a new HiJackThis log.

Thanks...Phil

OK, looks good:bigthumb: use HJT to remove this line:
O2 - BHO: (no name) - {3A2E3D9B-667E-4287-B613-F87589AE223C} - C:\WINDOWS\system32\mljgh.dll (file missing)

If you are back to normal, you are good to go.
Here is some great information from Tony Klein, Texruss, ChrisRLG and Grinler to help you stay clean and safe online:
http://forums.spybot.info/showthread.php?t=279
http://russelltexas.com/malware/allclear.htm
http://forum.malwareremoval.com/viewtopic.php?t=14

http://cybercoyote.org/security/not-admin.shtml

ewido is a great program but it does use some resources. Once the trial is over you can update and use the scanner for as long as you wish, but unless you purchase it you should turn it off completely so it does not run unless you start it manually.

System Restore does not know the good files from the bad. In case bad stuff has gotten into your System Restore files, follow the instructions in this link to get clean System Restore files. Turn it off, reboot then turn it back on:

Safe surfing...tashi:) will close the topic in a day or so.
