put simply.. will spybot be compatible under windows 8?
spybot is a CRITICAL piece of my security software suite, and I need to know if it will be or if I'll be looking to a competitor for protection.

Hello,
Windows 8 is not completely tested (but no issues are known).
It was an operating system in development when Spybot-S&D 2.0 was being created,
as such there are no guarantees as to what will hold true at this point.

@XRaiderV1: spybot 1.6.2 may work under Windows 8 but you're better off waiting for the final release of spybot 2.0 which will have full Win8 compatibility

I'm sorry, but that is a wrong information.
We never said Spybot-S&D 2.0 will be fully compatible with Windows 8.
