The following instructions have been created to help you to get rid of "FreePriceAlert" manually.
Use this guide at your own risk; software should usually be better suited to remove malware, since it is able to look deeper.

Description:
FreePriceAlert is installed by other software. The tool is looking up for the lowest price of objects you want to buy.
Removal Instructions:

Files:

Please use Windows Explorer or another file manager of your choice to locate and delete these files.

The file at "<$APPDATA>\FreePriceAlerts\sites.bin".
The file at "<$PROGRAMFILES>\FreePriceAlerts\vbobho.dll".
The file at "<$PROGRAMFILES>\FreePriceAlerts\win64\vbobho.dll".
Make sure you set your file manager to display hidden and system files. If FreePriceAlert uses rootkit technologies, use our RootAlyzer (http://forums.spybot.info/downloads.php?id=8) or our Total Commander anti-rootkit plugins (http://forums.spybot.info/downloads.php?id=3).
You will have to use a global search for files without a name specified. Be extra careful, because just the name might not be enough to identify files!

Important: There are more files that cannot be safely described in simple words. Please use Spybot-S&D (http://www.safer-networking.org/index.php?page=spybotsd) to remove them.

Folders:

A key in HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\ named "FreePriceAlerts.Band.1", plus associated values.
A key in HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\ named "FreePriceAlerts.Band", plus associated values.
A key in HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\ named "vbobho.FreePriceAlerts.1", plus associated values.
A key in HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\ named "vbobho.FreePriceAlerts", plus associated values.
Delete the registry key "{A7C0A55C-300E-4193-8FB5-5DB8E6533D35}" at "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\".
Delete the registry key "{A7C0A55C-300E-4193-8FB5-5DB8E6533D35}" at "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Ext\Stats\".
Delete the registry key "{A7C0A55C-300E-4193-8FB5-5DB8E6533D35}" at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Browser Helper Objects\".
Delete the registry key "{B5DC42FA-AB8C-411C-B89E-11156BBFAF8B}" at "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Interface\".
Delete the registry key "{E84C313B-E05C-4B3B-BDFB-F9F679CE6D23}" at "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\".
Delete the registry key "FreePriceAlerts" at "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\AppDataLow\".
Delete the registry key "HELPDIR" at "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\TypeLib\{C12C8D28-55F5-4A98-8FF4-0604B3063BE7}\1.0\".
Delete the registry key "InprocServer32" at "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{35186E3E-7E28-41A3-B258-94A66234C1ED}\".
Delete the registry key "InProcServer32" at "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{C671912C-1650-4D5E-B5B8-E3E886754078}\".
Delete the registry key "win32" at "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\TypeLib\{C12C8D28-55F5-4A98-8FF4-0604B3063BE7}\1.0\0\".
If FreePriceAlert uses rootkit technologies, use our RegAlyzer (http://www.safer-networking.org/index.php?page=regalyzer), RootAlyzer (http://forums.spybot.info/downloads.php?id=8) or our Total Commander anti-rootkit plugins (http://forums.spybot.info/downloads.php?id=3).
