I've been searching the Internet for a solution to, or even any information on this toolbar (see attached pic). I have found nothing, so in desperation I ask you, if any of you has seen this thing? What it is and how do I get rid of it permanently?

Hello Choji,

As you appear to be using an iPad, perhaps ask at the Apple forums?

Best regards.

I see my error now. I should have mentioned this earlier. This, thing, for lack of a better word, shows up in browsers across platforms across browsers over many devices. I've seen it on Linux (Ubuntu 12.04), Win7, and as you pointed out, on the iPad. Have you or anyone else even seen this?

Which browsers? :)

I've seen it on chrome, Firefox, Safari, some ipad apps that access the Internet, even on my damn Android phone! What is amazing is I can find no mention or reference to it anywhere at all! It's like it is my own personal demonic infestation.
It went away for a while but now it's back again, it says it is "Jump 1.0" (see pic) but I found no references to that either. The icons on it are all for websites, gmail, Facebook, yahoo, YouTube and the rest are all Indian online shopping & travel sites, I'm from India btw.

Yes it has the same name but it does not sound or look like the same thing, besides it costs £9 and I have never spent that kind of money, or any money at all, on apps.
I've just had a thought, only thing I share across devices and platforms is my ISP, could be that they are responsible? I,ll try my devices, as many as I can, on another ISP tomorrow and see.

Hi there,

Yes it has the same name but it does not sound or look like the same thing,

Jump is a quick-access utility, aimed at making the launch of apps, documents and folders more convenient;
The image you posted fit that description. :)

Yep, it did. But the more I think about it in my current vodka fuelled insightful state of mind the more I am convinced that it is my ISP who is to blame. I will investigate further and report tomorrow, thanks for your help so far. It was talking to you that brought this possibility to my mind.
