Temp File Issue

Hello,
I am primarily a Machine Tool type guy, and could use a little help.
My P.C. shows 1245 temporary files, with 1238 in use and connot be deleted when starting a scan using S&D 1.6.2 . I have tried using every weapon in my arsenal with no success. It did appear that I had it whupped at one point, but returned after a couple of days.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Running XP SP3, Have tried Malware bytes, and stuff as well.:thanks:

Did you try run Spybot as administrator? Right-click the Spybot icon and chose "Run as Administrator". Try now.

If it don't succeed, there are other vendors that offers you to clean the temp files, such as CCleaner.
