Windows 8 problems

Hello and thank you for trying to help with this problem.

My new cpu is windows 8. After a spybot scan, no changes or deletions ( spybot fixes ) are possible because Spybot is asking to be run as an administrator. Only thing is I am indeed signed on as the lone user and administrator of the CPU.

Any suggestions? Spybot problem? Windows 8 problem? Settings problem?

Thank you again. I have been using Spybot or years and recommend it a lot.

I don't have a Windows 8 set up at the moment (http://forums.spybot.info/showthread.php?t=67159), so can't test this, but try right clicking on the Spybot icon and selecting the "Run as administrator" option.

It sounds crazy given you are the administrator, but it has fixed problems for me with Windows 7 in the past.
