I have been trying to avoid any program that uses the OpenCandy installer. The list is growing, I found out today that my favorite PDF reader "Nitro" is now in partnership with OpenCandy.
Is OpenCandy adware/Spyware, I think it is. It now installs without leaving registry traces, sometimes without permission. I would like the choice of having OpenCandy on my computer or not. I support the programmers by buying their products, but they are even putting OpenCandy into products that I pay for.
In the case of Nitro Pro, that I purchased.
