Hi. First post but i have bben trying to fix this for hours. I have already deleted win anti virus pro several times after scanning it with ad-aware SE. I have used ewido, adn AVG free. I usually get one or two win antivirus pro popups a day, and i have had the off and on problem of not being able to open any folers. the taskbar dissapears, and then reappears, reloading. normally i just restart or log off and this fixes it, but i have restarted it multiple times today and it will not let me open any folders. Does anyone know whats wrong?

Welcome to the forum, it sounds like a Vundo trojan infection that can be a bear to remove. The following information will point you in the correct direction to start the process.
Please be advised that most forums Pin the information you need at the top of the page. These two links are a must before you can proceed, but I suggest you review all Pinned (Sticky) information.

Thanks for the feedback, to be sure you are clean you will need to post a HJT log for me to view. If you had a Vundo infection, it is unlikely any of the tools in the links I provided would remove it.

Thanks...pskelley

Spike this topic has been archived for now but that HJT log should have been provided to make sure the PC is clean.

If you need this thread re-opened please send me or your helper a private message (pm) and provide a link to the thread.

BEFORE you post and who will advise you. Preliminary Steps (http://forums.spybot.info/showthread.php?t=288)

Towards the end of a cleanup please make sure you follow through with any final log requested even if it appears to you that your computer is back to normal operation.
As much as we like our members ;) we would rather not see you back in a few weeks because there was no follow up with the helper.
