Is there a way to stop Spybot 2 from logging every website I am on to the firewall.txt file? I have tried running as admin and disabling the browser integration but it doesn't stop and when I check the settings the integration is still checked. This is on a Vista 32bit system with IE8 and Firefox.
Looking through Spybot,I believe disabling the Scanner Service should stop the logging to firewall.txt.
The description for the Scanner Service is this:
System service responsible for scanning single files during on-access or custom demand scans, as well as internet connections.
If you'd like to uninstall the scanner service, please run Spybot as admin,go to Settings, click the System Services tab, uncheck Active after every reboot, click Stop, then in the dropdown menu, click Uninstall, then Apply, and OK.
If that doesn't stop the logging to Firewall.txt,or if you change your mind later,it can be reinstalled.

Thanks. After uninstalling the service it no longer is logging the websites.
