The following instructions have been created to help you to get rid of "Wajam" manually.
Use this guide at your own risk; software should usually be better suited to remove malware, since it is able to look deeper.

Description:
Wajam comes along bundled with SweetIM and integrates its social search tools directly onto the search result pages of Google searches.

You can try to uninstall products with the names listed below; for items identified by other properties or to avoid malware getting active again on uninstallation, use Spybot-S&D (http://www.safer-networking.org/index.php?page=spybotsd) or RunAlyzer (http://www.safer-networking.org/index.php?page=runalyzer) to locate and get rid of these entries.

Products that have a key or property named "Wajam".

Files:

Please use Windows Explorer or another file manager of your choice to locate and delete these files.

The file at "<$LOCALAPPDATA>\Wajam\Chrome\wajam.crx".
The file at "<$LOCALSETTINGS>\Temp\wajam_install.exe".
The file at "<$PROGRAMFILES>\Wajam\IE\favicon.ico".
The file at "<$PROGRAMFILES>\Wajam\IE\priam_bho.dll".
The file at "<$PROGRAMFILES>\Wajam\uninstall.exe".
The file at "<$PROGRAMFILES>\Wajam\Updater\wajamLogo.bmp".
The file at "<$PROGRAMFILES>\Wajam\Updater\WajamUpdater.exe".
The file at "<$PROGRAMS>\Wajam\uninstall.lnk".
Make sure you set your file manager to display hidden and system files. If Wajam uses rootkit technologies, use our RootAlyzer (http://forums.spybot.info/downloads.php?id=8) or our Total Commander anti-rootkit plugins (http://forums.spybot.info/downloads.php?id=3).
You will have to use a global search for files without a name specified. Be extra careful, because just the name might not be enough to identify files!

Folders:

The directory at "<$PROGRAMFILES>\Wajam".
The directory at "<$PROGRAMS>\Wajam".

A key in HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\ named "wajam.WajamBHO", plus associated values.
A key in HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\ named "wajam.WajamDownloader.1", plus associated values.
A key in HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\ named "wajam.WajamDownloader", plus associated values.
Delete the registry key "{095BFD3C-4602-4FE1-96F1-AEFAFBFD067D}" at "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\TypeLib\".
Delete the registry key "{1FAEE6D5-34F4-42AA-8025-3FD8F3EC4634}" at "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\AppID\".
Delete the registry key "{431532BD-0AE1-4ABC-BE8C-919F3D1332E2}" at "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\".
Delete the registry key "{431532BD-0AE1-4ABC-BE8C-919F3D1332E2}" at "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Interface\".
Delete the registry key "{5D64294B-1341-4FE7-B6D8-7C36828D4DD5}" at "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\".
Delete the registry key "{A7A6995D-6EE1-4FD1-A258-49395D5BF99C}" at "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\".
Delete the registry key "{A7A6995D-6EE1-4FD1-A258-49395D5BF99C}" at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Browser Helper Objects\".
Delete the registry key "jpmbfleldcgkldadpdinhjjopdfpjfjp" at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Google\Chrome\Extensions\".
Delete the registry key "Wajam" at "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\".
Delete the registry key "Wajam" at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\".
Delete the registry key "WajamUpdater" at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Services\Eventlog\Application\".
Delete the registry key "WajamUpdater" at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet002\Services\Eventlog\Application\".
Delete the registry key "WajamUpdater" at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet003\Services\Eventlog\Application\".
Delete the registry key "WajamUpdater" at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Eventlog\Application\".
If Wajam uses rootkit technologies, use our RegAlyzer (http://www.safer-networking.org/index.php?page=regalyzer), RootAlyzer (http://forums.spybot.info/downloads.php?id=8) or our Total Commander anti-rootkit plugins (http://forums.spybot.info/downloads.php?id=3).
