definitions for 64 bit and 32 bit

Are the weekly S&D definitions different (in size, etc.) different for the WinXP (32 Bit) and Vista (32 Bit) and Win 7 (64 Bit) computers.
It appeared that my 64 Bit S&D download file was larger than the others and there appeared to be files to immunize while not on the others.

Or am I just confused regarding the latest S&D weekly update and possibly not having installed an S&D weekly download for a previous week?

There is only one update, it's not different for 64 bit or 32 bit.
