I have a performance issue with the current 'Fix Selected' function in Spybot 2's Scan Utility; it either runs very slow (flakey), or doesn't work at all (faulty).
I raised this issue in the general Spybot forum, which one of your team (Zenobia (http://forums.spybot.info/member.php?u=145)) was kind enough to respond. While I appreciate the comments, in the end I've still got the problem.
Ideally, this function, as indeed many Spbot 2 functions, needs speeding up. Perhaps you could consider providing some sort of 'busy' indicator to these functions, when selected. As it is now, there's no indication there's anything happening, especially since it seems to take an exceptionally long time to complete. As it is, I've never had the 'Fix Selected' function complete with green check marks appearing in the scan results window, as Zenobia indicates.
I also would like to suggest the re-instatement of the auto-fix feature available in 1.6.2, but perhaps more elegantly than as a command line (/autofix) option. To my mind, it doesn't make sense to automate scans, unless there is an auto-fix complement. Typically, scheduling of automated tasks is to allow these tasks to run at times when the system is quiescent (that is, no one's using it!) times.
The issues raised in this thread are dissimilar to the previous 'Fix Selected' issue, since cookies do not apply in my case.
FYI, my system is Win7 Ultimate SP1, with Spbot v2.0.12.
