I there a way to fix this virus?
SBUpdate.exe I keep running into a pop up telling me that the instruction at 0x1000104a referenced memory at 0x76ef6a25. The memory could not be written. Click ok to terminate the program. Click cancel to terminate the program. What do I do to fix this persistent and annoying problem?

That problem is often reported as an application error.
What is the operating system please and which security programs are installed.
Also had the computer been infected before the issue started.
Best regards.

Hello bluewindwoman,
Windows 7 royale xp professional
Microsoft did not release an operating system (as opposed to a color "theme") named royale, where did you obtain that? :)
Best regards.

I have had this since 2008 when a computer repair guy fixed my old work PC. I have never had an issue till I contacted you.
So I guess you are saying, there is no fix for it?
