On my windows machine at work, XP Defender 2013 has popped up. I researched on a clean machine and it turns out that this is malware. In response, I downloaded Spybot and transferred it to the infected machine via safemode with networking, and right after the first scan XP Defender seemed like it defeated Spybot. It will no longer allow it to function. Is there any remedy?
