Per the "before you post" instructions, I have updated my Spybot, have performed a safe boot scan and the online Panda scan, and have posted the hijackthis scan below. Please let me know what I need to do next. Thanks for your help.

Welcome to the forum. Are you sure you have Smitfraud? I can't see it in the log but we will run a test for it in a few moments.
This is what I see and it is a nasty: C:\WINDOWS\System32\service.exe running from your services:
O23 - Service: Windows Service Manager (WSCM) - Unknown owner - C:\WINDOWS\System32\service.exe (file missing)
Pay no attention to the file missing, this is an active infection. I posted the link so you will know it in the HJT log.

1) Let's check for Smitfraud like this:

Please download SmitfraudFix (http://siri.urz.free.fr/Fix/SmitfraudFix.zip) (by S!Ri)
Extract the content (a folder named SmitfraudFix) to your Desktop.
Open the SmitfraudFix folder and double-click smitfraudfix.cmd
Select option #1 - Search by typing 1 and press "Enter"; a text file will appear, which lists infected files (if present).
Please copy/paste the content of that report into your next reply.
Note : process.exe is detected by some antivirus programs (AntiVir, Dr.Web, Kaspersky) as a "RiskTool"; it is not a virus, but a program used to stop system processes. Antivirus programs cannot distinguish between "good" and "malicious" use of such programs, therefore they may alert the user.

2) We will try this first:
Disable the Service
Click Start > Run and type services.msc
Scroll down to Windows Service Manager and right click on it.
Click Properties and under Service Status click Stop, then under Startup Type change it to Disabled.
Delete the Service
Open HijackThis and click Config -> Misc Tools -> Delete an NT service.
In the Delete window, type (WSCM)and press OK.
OK any prompts, close HijackThis, and restart your computer.

How to use the Delete on Reboot tool
At times you may find a file that stubbornly refuses to be deleted by conventional means. HijackThis introduced, in version 1.98.2, a method to have Windows delete the file as it boots up, before the file has the chance to load. To do this follow these steps:
Start Hijackthis
Click on the Config button
Click on the Misc Tools button
Click on the button labeled Delete a file on reboot...
A new window will open asking you to select the file that you would like to delete on reboot. Navigate to the file: C:\WINDOWS\System32\service.exe and click on it once, and then click on the Open button.
You will now be asked if you would like to reboot your computer to delete the file. Click on the Yes button if you would like to reboot now, otherwise click on the No button to reboot later.
4) How to make files and folders visible:
Click Start > Open My Computer.
Select the Tools menu and click Folder Options.
Select the View Tab. Under the Hidden files and folders heading, select Show hidden files and folders.
Uncheck: Hide file extensions for known file types
Uncheck the Hide protected operating system files (recommended) option.
Click Yes to confirm.
Click OK.

Open HijackThis and choose "Do a system scan only" then check the box in front of these line items:

Close all programs but HJT and all browser windows, then click on "Fix Checked"
RIGHT Click on Start then click on Explore. Locate and delete these items:
C:\WINDOWS\System32\service.exe <<< file (may be gone)
Run ATF Cleaner
Double-click ATF-Cleaner.exe to run the program.
Click Select All found at the bottom of the list.
Click the Empty Selected button.
Click Exit on the Main menu to close the program.
Restart the computer and post the text file from SmitfraudFix, a new HJT log, and any comments you think will help. How is the computer running now?

After completing steps 2-5 (the results from step 1 were posted above), I have posted the results of the Hijackthis scan below. The system is still running very slowly, and when I run Spybot, it still comes up with a Smitfraud entry. Is it possible that this is a false positive, or does it still need to be removed? Also, it is possible that there are still other items that need to be removed that are causing my system to run so slowly? Thanks for your help on this one!

No Jay, the test we ran was just to establish the presense of the infection, the creator indicates it is not a good to run the fix on a machine not infected, so I check first when I am not sure.
It appears you were able to remove the other nasty, so now, let's do this:
http://siri.urz.free.fr/Fix/SmitfraudFix_En.php
Clean:
Reboot your computer in Safe Mode (before the Windows icon appears, tap the F8 key continually)
Double-click smitfraudfix.cmd
Select 2 and hit Enter to delete infect files.
You will be prompted: Do you want to clean the registry ? answer Y (yes) and hit Enter in order to remove the Desktop background and clean registry keys associated with the infection.
The tool will now check if wininet.dll is infected. You may be prompted to replace the infected file (if found): Replace infected file ? answer Y (yes) and hit Enter to restore a clean file.
A reboot may be needed to finish the cleaning process. The report can be found at the root of the system drive, usually at C:\rapport.txt
Optional:
To restore Trusted and Restricted site zone, select 3 and hit Enter.
You will be prompted: Restore Trusted Zone ? answer Y (yes) and hit Enter to delete trusted zone.
Note, if you use SpywareBlaster and/or IE-SPYAD, it will be necessary to re-install the protection both afford. For SpywareBlaster, run the program and re-protect all items. For IE-SPYAD, run the batch file and reinstall the protection.
Make sure you restart the computer and post that report from SmitfraudFix, also a last HJT log and your comments. How is the computer running now.

You must not turn off any of your security programs, look at programs that start like this: O4 - HKLM\..\Run: those are the ones you can turn of (not the security programs) and then start them in All Programs if you need them.
You are also running a load of services and you may not be using them. This information: http://www.mvps.org/winhelp2002/services.htm will help you decide. Be careful what you turn off.

You look to be clean of malware, but you have so much stuff running it is a wonder the computer will start. Time to put the computer on a diet. Thanks for the recommendations on how to make things run faster. But, one more question. When I run my Spybot, I'm still showing that I have Smitfraud on my computer. Is this a legitimate issue, or is there a way to tell if it is a false positive? Thanks.

We have had issues with bits of the infection still being in the registry where they can really cause no problem. I have seen helper search for days and finally give up. Could you post the exact location where Spybot is finding it.
It would not hurt to have a quick check with the newest version of the SmitfraudFix tool either. If it should find anything (and only if it does) then run the clean feature. You can download the newest version here:

Did you try my last instructions, download the most current version of SmitfraudFix and Search to see if it finds those items. If it does, then run Clean.
How do you know these are Smitfraud?
Post a HJT log for a look also.

OK...I hope I've hit all of the points above. The reason why I'm assuming that I still have some sort of issue is that each time I run Spybot (after checking for updates), I keep getting the same 4 instances reported at Smitfraud. This was what caused me to think that I had the initial problem. We cleanup some other things, but the 4 reports of Smitfraud are still beind detected by Spybot Search and Destroy.
I ran through the Smitfraudfix process again, per your recommendation above. I also ran another HJT scan and have posted the results below. Let me know what you think and if ther is anything that I can do to remove these 4 reports of Smitfraud....or anything else...that might be causing problems. Thanks!

Did SmitfraudFix SEARCH function locate any of the infections, could you post that report for me please.

Spybot does from time to time identify false positives, and in this case leftover stuff in the registry. Spybot has a function where you can tell it to ignore certain items, it puts them on a list and does not show them to you. If you do not know how to do this, you need to spend some time in your HELP file and the TUTORIAL.
If you are comfortable using regedit, you can edit them out of the registry (backup first) or I could provide you with a better editor (free) than regedit. If it were my computer and the items were causing no problems, I would ask Spybot to stop showing them to me and try not to get infected anymore.

System Restore does not know the good files from the bad. In case bad stuff has gotten into your System Restore files, follow the instructions in this link to get clean System Restore files. Turn it off, reboot then turn it back on:
