View Full Version : really messed up thing
Hi I have a BIG problem with my pc.
something has gotten in to my pc that spybot s&d/adaware/norton or even my firewall couldnt detect. it gives me adds in pop ups every time I connect to something (server for gaming/ a web page/ msn) the pop ups only open in Internet Explorer. I even tried to uninstall internet explorer but when my pc restarts... internet explorer is back, and the pop ups as well
and btw: pop up blocker doesnt work because the "thing" disables it.
could someone plz help me

Hello,
Which version of Spybot Search and Destroy do you run?
Do you have installed the latest updates?
Would be nice to see a bug report.
Run Spybot-S&D, let it scan, try to fix the problems (!) and then go to "Tools --> View Report". Tick on all of the 10 checkboxes (leave "Do not report disabled or known legitimate items" unchecked) you can find there and click on "View Report". Now choose "Export" and save the file to your desktop. Please attach this file to your email and send it again to detections(at)spybot.info.
Best regards
Sandra

After you have followed spybotsandra's instructions, please see the instructions in this sticky topic because by your description you have been HiJacked.

A helper will advise you as soon as available.
As Internet Explorer is fully integrated into the Windows Operating System you cannot uninstall IE trying to solve this problem; doing so could place you in the position of having to reinstall Windows. ;)
