I ran spybot. It wanted to reboot after running. When I did the reboot windows wouldn't load. Help.
Did you get any error messages?

No, it goes to the Compaq startup screen and stops there. I was able to play around with it and get it to the screen that gives you safe mode as an option, but it freezes up there.
Does it freeze after you select safe mode,or is it frozen right on that screen?If it freezes after selecting safe mode,could you try to get it back to the screen with safe mode once again,and select Last Known Good Configuration? :)

You also can try the following:
- Make sure in Bios, your Computer is configured to look for a boot-device on CD-Device
- Insert your Windows-Installation DVD/CD
- Start your Computer, if asked, confirm to boot from CD
- Now select "Solve startup-problems" ... this will take a while and a restart will be done
- If this did'nt helpt. go as above but this time select "Systemrestore"
- Select an older System-Restore-Point and start the Restore.
Yes,but before trying the things above,it should be found out what the operating system is,and whether the computer came with a Windows install dvd. :)
