View Full Version : Dllhost.exe appears and disappears in the task manager

Hi, for some reason, sometimes when the SDTray.exe is running, the dllhost.exe appears and disappears in the task manager every 10 seconds, when it disappears, the pointer of my mouse flashes and its very annoying. However it stops when i close the tray icon. I'm running Windows 7 and Kaspersky Antivirus.
You could disable sdtray if you'd like. :)
Which version of Spybot do you have,2.0 or 2.1?

I'm using Spybot 2.0
In that case,I believe that version doesn't have a way to disable it through Spybot.The easiest way is probably through msconfig,then. :)

Click the startup tab,scroll through until you see Spybot - Search & Destroy(The command listed beside it should be C:\Program Files (x86)\Spybot - Search & Destroy 2\SDTray.exe or similar),uncheck it,click Apply,then Ok.
