Scan will not include extended antivirus checks - dlpcap

I uninstalled 1.6.2.46 and replaced with 2.1.
I noticed on the start scan screen the statement: 'Scan will not include extended antivirus checks'.
What does this mean?
Is there a setting I need to check for full scan?
