The following instructions have been created to help you to get rid of "WebCake.BHO" manually.
Use this guide at your own risk; software should usually be better suited to remove malware, since it is able to look deeper.

Description:
WebCake.BHO is a malicious software that installs without proper user consent. It shows fraudulent advertising and disrupts website navigation by partly overlaying advertising.
Removal Instructions:

Autorun:

Please use Spybot-S&D (http://www.safer-networking.org/index.php?page=spybotsd), RunAlyzer (http://www.safer-networking.org/index.php?page=runalyzer) or msconfig.exe to remove the following autorun entries.

Entries named "WebCake Desktop" and pointing to "*<$APPDATA>\WebCake\WebCakeDesktop.exe*".

Installed Software List:

You can try to uninstall products with the names listed below; for items identified by other properties or to avoid malware getting active again on uninstallation, use Spybot-S&D (http://www.safer-networking.org/index.php?page=spybotsd) or RunAlyzer (http://www.safer-networking.org/index.php?page=runalyzer) to locate and get rid of these entries.

Make sure you set your file manager to display hidden and system files. If WebCake.BHO uses rootkit technologies, use our RootAlyzer (http://forums.spybot.info/downloads.php?id=8) or our Total Commander anti-rootkit plugins (http://forums.spybot.info/downloads.php?id=3).
You will have to use a global search for files without a name specified. Be extra careful, because just the name might not be enough to identify files!

Important: There are more files that cannot be safely described in simple words. Please use Spybot-S&D (http://www.safer-networking.org/index.php?page=spybotsd) to remove them.

Folders:

The directory at "<$COMMONAPPDATA>\Tarma Installer\{361E80BE-388B-4270-BF54-A10C2B756504}".
The directory at "<$COMMONAPPDATA>\Tarma Installer\{C4ED781C-7394-4906-AAFF-D6AB64FF7C38}".
The directory at "<$LOCALAPPDATA>\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default\Extensions\fjoijdanhaiflhibkljeklcghcmmfffh".
The directory at "<$PROGRAMFILES>\WebCake".

A key in HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\ named "WebCakeIEClient.Layers", plus associated values.
Delete the registry key "{0AFD55C8-ADF8-4A33-A6E1-DEDB7A36AEB4}" at "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Interface\".
Delete the registry key "{2A5A2A90-3B30-4E6E-A955-2F232C6EF517}" at "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\".
Delete the registry key "{2A5A2A90-3B30-4E6E-A955-2F232C6EF517}" at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Browser Helper Objects\".
Delete the registry key "{361E80BE-388B-4270-BF54-A10C2B756504}" at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Tarma Installer\Products\".
Delete the registry key "{7169BBB3-3289-4696-B35D-4A88BCF6FB12}" at "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\AppID\".
Delete the registry key "{A0B10EBE-4E51-4CAE-949B-E6B9E7D68CEA}" at "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\".
Delete the registry key "{AF6B0594-6008-4327-93E5-608AD710A6FA}" at "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\".
Delete the registry key "{BB975E58-E769-4E5A-BA12-B765BC559FF3}" at "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\".
Delete the registry key "{C4ED781C-7394-4906-AAFF-D6AB64FF7C38}" at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Tarma Installer\Products\".
Delete the registry key "{DF84E609-C3A4-49CB-A160-61767DAF8899}" at "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\".
Delete the registry key "{DF84E609-C3A4-49CB-A160-61767DAF8899}" at "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Interface\".
Delete the registry key "{EFDF368C-8DD9-4E05-87CD-16AA5CB03CB8}" at "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\TypeLib\".
Delete the registry key "{F511AFDB-726E-4458-90E7-1ECB97406544}" at "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\".
Delete the registry key "{FB684D26-01F4-4D9D-87CB-F486BEBA56DC}" at "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\".
Delete the registry key "fjoijdanhaiflhibkljeklcghcmmfffh" at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Google\Chrome\Extensions\".
Delete the registry key "WebCake Desktop Updater" at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Services\".
Delete the registry key "WebCake Desktop Updater" at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet002\Services\".
Delete the registry key "WebCake Desktop Updater" at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet003\Services\".
Delete the registry key "WebCakeIEClient.DLL" at "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\AppID\".
Delete the registry key "WebCakeUpdaterService" at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Services\Eventlog\Application\".
Delete the registry key "WebCakeUpdaterService" at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet002\Services\Eventlog\Application\".
Delete the registry key "WebCakeUpdaterService" at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet003\Services\Eventlog\Application\".
If WebCake.BHO uses rootkit technologies, use our RegAlyzer (http://www.safer-networking.org/index.php?page=regalyzer), RootAlyzer (http://forums.spybot.info/downloads.php?id=8) or our Total Commander anti-rootkit plugins (http://forums.spybot.info/downloads.php?id=3).
