Hello,

I just kicked the old mice out of my old computer and bought a whole new bunch of parts. For $40 the nice guys at the store put it together for me (I drank Beer instead)!!

That might have been a mistake as the connected my card/floppy combo before installing windows and now my primary drive (where XP is installed) is "F".

There's really nothing much else installed yet (just drivers), but the first program I wanted to install is S&D, unfortunately it comes up with an error when I scan.
It says,
"There is no disc in the drive. Please insert a disk into drive\Device\Harddisc2\DR3"

The program actually seems to scan if I keep clicking continue.

Anybody shed some light?

You could try to move whatever is assigned to the C: drive to another letter.

Thanks,
I think that sort of will be my plan!!

I guess I was wondering if the not scanning was a specific S&D thing, I mean, it not searching normally is because the drive is labeled "F".

A little off topic, but does anybody know if I'm better reformatting the drive and reinstalling XP (disconnecting the card readers until after windows has taken the "C" for itself)
or does it not actually make a difference?
As it's off topic, Feel free to only answer the question if you're answering the first part ;)

Thanks,

Gerry
