Updater update

How do I update the external 'updater', I keep getting this message each time I run updates, 'The external update application has been corrupted. Please make sure you download the "Updater" update to replace it!', and I can't find the 'Updater' update to replace it. Mikecee

I would recommend you the following:

1. download a fresh copy of Spybot from the official Website.
2. uninstall Spybot completly, restart your Computer and delete the Spybot-Folder into C:\Programs
3. install Spybot new from the into step 1 downloadet Setup

Thanks, was considering this fix, but am wondering how to update the external updater. like Spy Bot said to do... Has any one ever done that???
