No signatures in spybot 2.1.21

Morning all,

I just upgraded from 1.6 to 2.1.21 , when I do an initial update nothing happens and the "Last update" field reads "Your computer has no signatures installed yet".

I suspect I may not be validated/registered correctly.

Any ideas?

I too have this problem.

yes i clicked "update"
yes i rebooted.
yes i attempted it again.

i click update and in the second box below, it says "checking for antispyware updates...." and thats it.

Please help.

Perhaps Spybot isn't able to connect to check for updates,or something like that.That ought to be checked out afterwards.
In the meantime,there are manual updates.It says for 1.x,but you can also use those updates with Spybot 2.1,I believe.Try installing those,just to see if it stops the "Your computer has no signatures installed yet" message.There are further instructions for manual updates here:
