I decided to purchase a registry cleaner just on a whim to see if it would help my slow computer. wow, I cannot believe the scam (my opinion) they tried to put me thru. First it wouldn't download since the disc had errors. Their customer service ran a virus scan and it counted like 3000 infections. When I looked at them the infections were tracking cookies for my own site. I found out also that their cleaner removes an important part of Win32 and they would charge to correct it. The sales pitch was for $399 they can get my computer running. Wow, I hung up. Backed up my computer and flashed my hard drive. It was a pain but it fixed the problem. Man what a scam. Just giving a heads up. If you want to know the name of the company I'll let you know I just didn't think I should name it on the thread.
