Qv06

Hi,

I attempted to download winzip yesterday and I obviously went to the wrong page. Stopped and did a spybot scan when it looked suspicious and spybot removed a whole heap of things.

All is well however when I open internet explorer it goes to QV06 webpage.

How can I delete this QV06? I have googled but am weary of taking advice from just any old website as it may make it worse (& knowing my luck it will) however I have been using spybot for many years and trust it and I am hoping the forums are just as trustworthy as the software itself.

Can anyone please help? There has been a few other questions on this topic posted but no solution as yet.

Also as a side note if anyone can suggest a winzip or equivalent programme (free please and only need a basic version) that would not cause any problems or viruses I would really appreciate the advice.

In case you missed it please see the FAQ which also includes guidelines for this forum and instructions in post #2 on how to provide the preliminary DDS and aswMBR logs used for analysis.

Then start a new topic providing the DDS and aswMBR logs as shown in that sticky with a link back to this thread. and a volunteer analyst will advise when available. :)
