" Questions related to Spybot - Search & Destroy support/tools, or requests for Malware removal, should be posted in the appropriate forum."
There seems to be a typical virus in these forums. It is very elitist. It seems that these forums are only for computer nerds.
I have been using Spybot for sometime but I still do not understand it. Oh I can understand what it is supposed to do but when I look at the options that are offered to the left of the screen, I dive for "scan" and venture no further. I really don't know if I should be more discriminating. I have sought things like "spybot 101" or "users manual" or "glossary", etc.
So I am trying the "forum" and maybe I need "forum 101 for dummies".
I would think it would be advantageous for Spybot to have something that would let us dummies understand exactly what Spybot has to offer in its programs. They would probably like for us to actually "buy" their products but if we don't understand what we are getting for free and exactly what we might get is we buy a more advanced product, then why spend the money. It is like having a 21 speed bike but only use three because we can't easily figure out what the best speed is.
So is there a "Spybot 101 for dummies"?
