Installed Spybot Search & Destroy yesterday. Windows 7, 64 bit.
I got the error message "Runtime error 217 at 30461E18," closed it, but still get the error message whenever I click Start Center on the Start Menu or reboot. Oddly, I can get the Start Center by, clicking SDUpdate.exe, clicking Associated Tasks, and then clicking Start Center on the dropdown menu.
When I click Create System Report on the Start Menu, I get Runtime error 217 at 500E8338."
When I click File Scan on the Start Menu, I get "Runtime error 217 at 500E8338."
When I click Immunize on the Start Menu, I get "Runtime error 217 at 500Ei338."
When I click Tray Icon on the Start Menu, I get "Runtime error 217 at 30461E18."
Clicking Rootkit Scan, System Scan, and Uninstall on the Start Menu give me a User Account Control for me the click, then work fine.
Working within these limitations, I have been able to complete Update, Immunization, System Scan, and Rootkit Scan.
