In the last few weeks I have been greeted by an ad from longfintuna.net stating something like your computer is running slowly because it is low in disk space. Click here for help. The latest was something like internet explorer is not your ... do you want it to be... I just ran the latest updated spybot scan, but still had a new ad today. Anyone else had trouble with these ads? :confused:

It appears to be an infection.

Someone can take a look at the system if you start a topic in the Malware Removal Forum (http://forums.spybot.info/forumdisplay.php?f=22) where a volunteer analyst will advise when available. :)

First see that forum's FAQ which also includes instructions in post #2 on how to provide DDS and aswMBR logs, which are used in the preliminary analysis.
