Could anyone help me with this malware-trojan ? Spybot detects it but does not fix it.

If Spybot - Search & Destroy detected win32.downloader.gen and could not remove it.

Before starting a topic (http://forums.spybot.info/showthread.php?t=288) in the Malware Removal Forum (http://forums.spybot.info/forumdisplay.php?f=22) for this particular issue please run Spybot-S&D as Administrator if you haven't already and see if that resolves the problem. It often does. :)

A: Just right-click on the module’s icon you are about to run and select “Run as administrator”

Spybot - Search & Destroy 1.6.2

On Windows Vista and Windows 7, Spybot - Search & Destroy might tell you that you are not authorized to perform some actions, since they require Administrator rights. You can solve this problem as follows:



Right-click the Spybot - Search & Destroy entry in your start menu, instead of just left-clicking to start it.
Choose Run as administrator from the context menu.

Thank you Tashi for answer.

I always run Spybot as an administrator. I did the procedure a couple of time and it does not work. As today, is the only problem Spybot was unable to solve.

First see that forum's FAQ which also includes instructions in post #2 on how to provide DDS and aswMBR logs, which are used in the preliminary analysis.
