I chose the proxy part on the install as using itself as a proxy. When I realized it didn't allow me to use league of legends I changed it to auto detect and then uninstalled. But when I tried to open league it can't connect do to a proxy active... I reinstalled and tried everything I can think of but it won't fix. Does anyone know how to fix this? Also I'm on a windows 7 pro computer and system restore doesn't work so don't offer that as a suggestion.
Try opening Spybot-S&D Start Center,checkmark advanced mode,click settings,click the Internet Protection tab.If there is a checkmark beside Use Spybot proxy,uncheck it and then click Apply and OK.
If that doesn't work,try opening Internet Explorer.Click the gear in the upper right,select Internet Options,Connections tab,Lan Settings,if there's a checkmark beside Use a proxy server for your LAN and you don't ordinarily use one,remove the checkmark,press OK,then check to be sure you can still connect to the internet. :)
