I chose the proxy part on the install as using itself as a proxy. When I realized it didn't allow me to use league of legends I changed it to auto detect and then uninstalled. But when I tried to open league it can't connect do to a proxy active... I reinstalled and tried everything I can think of but it won't fix. Does anyone know how to fix this? Also I'm on a windows 7 pro computer and system restore doesn't work so don't offer that as a suggestion.

Today is Safer Internet Day, and with our new forum, you can finally use passkeys to login. That was about time!
Of course, you could ask if a forum is still useful, with so many social media networks out there where you might already have an account, and met a lot of users. You can now use your login from some of those networks to log in here. And by posting here, your question and data is stored on our servers and not automatically shared with a whole social media network.
We'll also start using the forum for small bits of information, announcements and more again.

Try opening Spybot-S&D Start Center,checkmark advanced mode,click settings,click the Internet Protection tab.If there is a checkmark beside Use Spybot proxy,uncheck it and then click Apply and OK.
If that doesn't work,try opening Internet Explorer.Click the gear in the upper right,select Internet Options,Connections tab,Lan Settings,if there's a checkmark beside Use a proxy server for your LAN and you don't ordinarily use one,remove the checkmark,press OK,then check to be sure you can still connect to the internet.
