View Full Version : Spybot slows everything!
Since I installed SpyBot a couple of days ago as a Home user (not free) my computer runs super slow with a lot of hang-ups. Also I noticed that my previous antivirus program is still listed in my Program Files even though I've uninstalled it and it doesn't come up in my programs to uninstall. I right-clicked on the folder and clicked on SpyBot Kill Folder but nothing happened. Is this really the best program to fix my issues? If not how do I get a refund?

Are you sure your previous AV has been completely uninstalled?
Having more than one anti-virus program can cause performance problems and a serious system slowdown due to both software products attempting to access the same file at the same time, which is what you are describing. :)
