High memory usage hanging up system

For the 3rd time this week my system has slowed to a very slow crawl. Researching the event logs I found that Spybot is going crazy. I am attaching a snip of one error (there were over 10,000 of them).

System is Gigabyte mother board GA-Z87X-UD5, i7-4770K CPU, 16GB mem, WIN7-SP1, etc,etc.

I am running Spybot home edition V2.2.

Please let me know if there is any other info I can provide.

I was searching,but I only got a very general idea of your event log error,and nothing found on it to do with Spybot,so I can't be of much help.
