Did you try the instructions here? ---> http://www.bing.com/set/homepage
If so please provide more details. :)
IE Version
The operating system
Security programs installed
Any issues with the computer's performance
Best regards.
Tashi,
Yes I tried those instructions and IE still opens with google as my home page.
IE Version-9
The operating system*Win7 Home edition
Security programs installed-Norton, Spybot Free edition
Any issues with the computer's performance-No works great except for IE always returning to google.
I have installed Firefox as a browser and have no problems with it. It always opens with Bing.
Thanks
John
Hi John,
I looked for the same problem being reported but often the user is asking how to make Google default so not much help there.
At this time it does appear to be a browser issue though so before tackling it as an infection please go to What The Tech and register, it's free.
Then post for assistance in this forum: Browsers, Internet and email (http://forums.whatthetech.com/index.php?showforum=123)
Please provide a link back to this topic, thanks, I will follow your topic over there and see how it goes. :)
Best regards,
