And by posting here, your question and data is stored on our servers and not automatically shared with a whole social media network.

    We'll also start using the forum for small bits of information, announcements and more again.

Live protection is not installed!

Hi all,

I downloaded the free version before purchasing the home edition version for the live protection.

I paid for it and downloaded the license - yet when I go to turn on live protection it tells me:

'Live protection is not installed!'

Which is a bit of a bummer because i spent the money for it.

Can anyone help?
 
Try opening the Spybot Start Center.If you are on Vista or higher,please rightclick the Spybot start center,and select Run As Administrator.Checkmark Advanced User Mode,then click Settings.You should see a Live protection tab,please select that.On the Mode tab,click Show Live Protection Advanced Controls.There should be a button there that says you can install Live Protection.Click that.After Live protection is installed,you may have to click the Start Live Protection button,and also checkmark Scan program before they start,then click Apply and OK.Let me know how that went. :)
 
Same problem but it's not working

i clicked on the button to install live protection and I just get a message "Live Protection not installed"
