Spybot 2.3 causes explorer.exe crash

Windows 7 Proffesional all latest fixes x.64

I was runing 1.x version of Spybot with no problems . Uninstalled this and installed 2.3 . Now when right clicking on anything in the Tree view in explorer.exe it crashes.

So I uninstalled 2.3 and explorer works fine . So checked for any left overs from 1.x . Deleted ALL spybot directories. Scanned registry for the name spybot and deleted any keys. Checked App Data.

Re-installed 2.3 and crash re appeared. Will uninstall again and then re install without explorer integration as I bet this is the issue.

I saw some had this problem back in 2012 has anything been done about this ?

Obviously a resolution is preferable, the issue is under investigation but proving to be a lengthy process to replicate. Do you have Nvidia installed?
