[Help!]Spybot failed to update antivirus signatures! [Archive]

Hello!

So, I just bought Spybot Professional Edition and it failed to update the antivirus signatures, and now I can't even scan my system! Here is a picture, and this the log that I get when I try to update!

Please check to see if the spybotsd2-install-bdcore-update.exe was downloaded to your Spybot Search & Destroy folder in Program Files.
If you're on a 64-bit operating system,it would be located here:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Spybot - Search & Destroy 2
if you have a 32-bit operating system,then please look here:
C:\Program Files\Spybot - Search & Destroy 2

If spybotsd2-install-bdcore-update.exe is there,doubleclick it and follow the prompts.
If spybotsd2-install-bdcore-update.exe isn't located there,just post back and tell me. :)

I need a little more info. :)
Do you have the same version as MitchellMote,Spybot 2.3 + AV?And is it a new install?
Could you show me your updates logfile,open Spybot Start Center,checkmark Use Advanced Mode,click Report Creator,then Show Logs,scroll down and doubleclick the Updates.log,go to Edit,then Select All,then rightclick the highlighted text,select Copy,then Paste it here.

Hi.Thanks for posting your logfile. :)
Your logfile is showing that you're having trouble downloading the update info file.So instead of locating a copy of spybotsd2-install-bdcore-update.exe just yet,try opening Spybot Start Center,checkmark Advanced User Mode,click Settings(say yes to the UAC prompt,if applicable),then click Internet Protection.If Use Spybot Proxy is checkmarked,uncheck it,then click Apply,and then OK.
Then click Update in the Spybot Start Center,click the Update button at the top.Please let me know how it goes.
