And by posting here, your question and data is stored on our servers and not automatically shared with a whole social media network.

    We'll also start using the forum for small bits of information, announcements and more again.

Update Service Stopped

This morning while doing my updates I noticed the (Update service was stopped)....It is highlighted but a check mark is in the green ball, The program did update but the stopped warning stayed highlighted, Is this a problem to worry about? Thanks
 
Open Spybot start center,checkmark Advanced User Mode,click Settings(say yes to UAC,if applicable),click the System Services tab,then beside Updating Service click Start,then Apply and OK.

Thanks so much for your reply, my first try I got a message "updating service would not start reason given by system was (1058), either it is disabled or because it has no enabled device associated with it." But when I restarted the system and went back to Spybot the link was o.k and updated. So I appreciate your expertise.
