Computer is HP Envy TouchSmart 15 Notebook PC, running Windows 8.1 64bit. I have this icon showing up in my systray everytime I reboot my computer. Right clicking on it only gives me the options to "open" or "exit". I only exit it as I am afraid it is some kind of malware. Spybot can't find it. Have tried several times. Also running Norton 360. It doesn't find it either. Guess it's some kind of adware, not sure as am computer illiterate.:) You have emailed me as to how to post this new thread under ticket #2014090413000499. Thread would not let me upload FRST file as it says it was too big. So sen it and scan log via separate email.

Still with me, still need help removing ROCKET

Still need help! My email with the other 2 files were attached to a reply from Team Spybot <software@spybot.info>, ticket #2014090413000499. It kept coming back to me as undeliverable so I gave up. I'm not totally computer literate so this stuff is a little confusing to me, but I'm trying. I even tried adding them to this post but can't. Don't know what to do now.

Hi,

Not sure what's going on with that, as far as I know you can email Spybot for technical assistance but removing viruses and malware is done here in the forum, so lets bypass any logs you may have sent and start over here.

Most times we cant remove malware with just one go, a few tools and programs are needed . So as not to confuse you as this may be very new to you I am going to list just one program at a time. Almost 100% of the scanners and tools we use will give us a log report that opens in windows notepad, you can open that report and at the top click on EDIT > Select All...............Then EDIT> Copy and then just right click in this thread in your post and select PASTE

-AdwCleaner-by Xplode

Click on this link to download : ADWCleaner (http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/adwcleaner/)
Click on ONE of the Two Blue Download Now buttons That have a blue arrow beside them and save it to your desktop.

Do not click on any links in the top Advertisment.

Close all open programs and internet browsers.
Double click on AdwCleaner.exe to run the tool.
Click on Scan.
After the scan is complete click on "Clean"
Confirm each time with Ok.
Your computer will be rebooted automatically. A text file will open after the restart.
Please post the content of that logfile with your next reply.
You can find the logfile at C:\AdwCleaner[S1].txt as well.
