Spyboy Freezes

I installed Spybot Free Version today as I am having problems finding some malware.
After installing an updating I ran the program and a few results came up - 18.
I then pressed fix problems and it froze.
I tried again both in normal and safemode with the same result
Any help would be appreciated .
I am running Windows 8.1 and apparently the log file I thought I had saved does not exist

There should be a checks.logfile besides the one you saved.If you have the Spybot 2.4 free version,you can locate it by opening Spybot Start Center,checkmarking Advanced User Mode,click Report Creator(say yes if prompted by UAC),then clicking Show Logs.There should be a checks.logfile there with the date you did your scan appended to it,so you know you have the right one.
If it is available,could you copy and paste that logfile here? :)
