Hi All,

I could sure use some help! I keep getting pop-ups from ETrust A/V telling me that I have Win32/SillyDl.AGC. I thought that I followed the help in http://forums.spybot.info/showthread.php?t=4015, but I am still seeing pop-ups about Win32/SillyDl.AGC.

Any help would be greatly appreciated :bigthumb:

Here is an HJT log, and thanks in advance for any help:

We need to see all the logs mentioned
http://forums.spybot.info/showthread.php?t=4015

I suggest you repeat the whole process, including installing Ewido and scanning with it while in safe mode.

My spyware problem has been resolved, after repeadetly running Spybot S&D, Ewido, Ad Aware, ATF Cleaner in Safe Mode and using the Kaspersky, Panda Activescan, and Bit Defender online scanners. Also from the HijackThis! log above I found this C:\WINDOWS\TEMP\iddE.tmp.exe and removed it.

Thanks.

Ok

Think Prevention: Put in place a good hosts file
http://www.mvps.org/winhelp2002/hosts.htm
How To Download and Extract the HOSTS file:
http://www.mvps.org/winhelp2002/hosts2.htm
Repeat that proccess about once or twice a month

To help avoid reinfection see "So how did I get infected in the first place?"

Since the problems appear solved Im going to close the topic now, this keeps others with similar problems from posting there logs/question here, they should start a new topic.
If you should need to post another log for the same PC let one of us know via a PM (personal message).
