The following instructions have been created to help you to get rid of "ScorpionSaver" manually.
Use this guide at your own risk; software should usually be better suited to remove malware, since it is able to look deeper.

Description:
Scorpion Saver is an adware that may show pop-ups with random advertisements and sponsored links during an Internet session. If the user clicks on any pop-up, it redirect him to unknown websites. Scorpion Saver adds itself to web browsers and changes the settings, e.g. the start pages or the search provider.

Make sure you set your file manager to display hidden and system files. If ScorpionSaver uses rootkit technologies, use the rootkit scanner integrated into Spybot-S&D (http://www.safer-networking.org/index.php?page=spybotsd) 2.x or our Total Commander anti-rootkit plugins (http://forums.spybot.info/downloads.php?id=3).
You will have to use a global search for files without a name specified. Be extra careful, because just the name might not be enough to identify files!

Important: There are more files that cannot be safely described in simple words. Please use Spybot-S&D (http://www.safer-networking.org/index.php?page=spybotsd) to remove them.

Folders:

Please use Windows Explorer or another file manager of your choice to locate and delete these folders.

The directory at "<$COMMONAPPDATA>\Package Cache\{f9ab2e02-fc46-4e6e-ad70-b424ce36cf51}".
The directory at "<$PROGRAMFILES>\ScorpionSaver Services".
The directory at "<$PROGRAMFILES>\ScorpionSaver".
Make sure you set your file manager to display hidden and system files. If ScorpionSaver uses rootkit technologies, use our RootAlyzer (http://forums.spybot.info/downloads.php?id=8) or our Total Commander anti-rootkit plugins (http://forums.spybot.info/downloads.php?id=3).
You will have to use a global search for files without a name specified. Be extra careful, because just the name might not be enough to identify folders!

Registry:

You can use regedit.exe (included in Windows) to locate and delete these registry entries.

Delete the registry key "{10AD2C61-0898-4348-8600-14A342F22AC3}" at "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\".
Delete the registry key "{10AD2C61-0898-4348-8600-14A342F22AC3}" at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Browser Helper Objects\".
Delete the registry key "{C206998A-0EB2-4BF1-A091-02CDD18152E4}" at "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Installer\Dependencies\".
Delete the registry key "A899602C2BE01FB40A1920DC1D18254E" at "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Installer\Products\".
Delete the registry key "Adpeak, Inc." at "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\".
Delete the registry key "AdpeakProxy" at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Services\".
Delete the registry key "AdpeakProxy" at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet002\Services\".
Delete the registry key "AdpeakProxy" at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet003\Services\".
Delete the registry key "ScorpionSaver" at "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\".
Delete the registry key "ScorpionSaver" at "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\AppDataLow\Software\".
Delete the registry value "{9DC8FA51-B596-4f77-802C-5B295919C205}" at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\AppID\".
Delete the registry value "AdpeakProxy.exe" at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\AppID\".
Delete the registry value "PCProxy.DataContainer" at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\AppID\".
If ScorpionSaver uses rootkit technologies, use our RegAlyzer (http://www.safer-networking.org/index.php?page=regalyzer), RootAlyzer (http://forums.spybot.info/downloads.php?id=8) or our Total Commander anti-rootkit plugins (http://forums.spybot.info/downloads.php?id=3).
