SpyBot 2.4.40.0 Not Responding when you click Fix

Hi,

I'm having the same issue as a lot of people when using this version, it hangs and then says not responding after you click Fix. Now I understand you want people to go into safe mode and run it, but that is a hassle for people and the previous version you never had to do that.

Is there a fix coming soon to resolve this issue or not. I have not seen any replies to this answer?

We are working on this issue to be able to provide you a satisfying solution.

Please download this installer and execute it:
https://www.dropbox.com/s/mf0cjku5tqs33nf/spybotsd2-CleanerFreezeTest.exe?dl=0

It will replace services that are suspected to cause your issue.

I did it and it worked.

Have also had this issue. Fix at the link provided worked for me too. :)

May not be a permanent fix in released product. But resolved the problem. Thanks!
