My browser and computer is under heavy attack after I install Microsoft updates, After this happened the first time I downloaded Chrome software removal tool and reset my browser, which seemed to work, then some time late it shows up again. spybot searches for it - nothing, microsoft security essientals - finds nothing. I finally narrow it down after installing and uninstalling and reinstalling microsoft updates. its only after I install these updates that my computer starts having problems. and the best part is, one of these updates, that microsoft deems "Important"

I went ahead and installed the " important security update and so far, no problems

Heres the other one - Microsoft SQL Server 2008 Service Pack 2 (KB2285068)

Also the malware is called Groovio. I only know this because it enables itself as a chrome extension and deletes my other ones. Its really good at hiding Ive searched high and low on my computer for any signs or trances.

I'm seeing that Groovorio might be bundled along with some free software, but nothing about being installed along with windows update.
Groovorio might be listed in add/remove programs to be removed, but then you also need to reset some settings in your browser,so you might like to ask for help in the malware removal section of the forum, also. :)

To do that, you'd need to read and follow this post:

And then this is the malware removal forum:

Thank you Zenobia. :)

justindunn87, just to add...

Microsoft updates have presented some challenges lately but malware is not included.

Our Malware Removal Forum (http://forums.spybot.info/forumdisplay.php?f=22) volunteers helps users with personal computers but not servers.

Have you tried posting the issue at a Microsoft forum?
