Hello

This is the result of the scan on my computer:

:: RootAlyzer Results
File:"Unknown ADS","C:\Windows:{4B9A1497-0817-47C4-9612-D6A1C53ACF57}:$DATA"
File:"No admin in ACL","C:\Users\All Users\Microsoft\OFFICE\DATA"
File:"No admin in ACL","C:\Users\All Users\Microsoft\OFFICE\DATA\OPA12.BAK"
File:"No admin in ACL","C:\Users\All Users\Microsoft\OFFICE\DATA\opa12.dat"
File:"No admin in ACL","C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\OFFICE\DATA"
RegyValue:"Zero char in key name","HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE","\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\DbgagD\","1\0"
// Attention: entries with a zero character will not be displayed correctly and may not work!

I'm guessing that the Office entries are nothing to be worried about, but what about the rest? I tried searching online but this is all very mysterious to me! Any help is greatly appreciated :)

Thanks

Hi Toshi

Thanks for your help, this log is for my own computer, it's not running too bad actually, I just ran a rootkit scan in order to be thorough, and I didn't know if the "Unknown ADS" entry was something I should be worried about...

Thanks!

Hi eltopo,

Those entries don't raise a flag which is why I asked how the computer is running.

Rootkit scans are not made to discover "regular" malware. :)

Best regards.
