I just purchased the Home Edition and am having difficulties. I hope someone can help me resolve these issues.
1. Live protection is not installed. (Failed to install)
2. The antivirus update failed to download files.
You could try installing Live Protection again,and see if that works.I'm not sure if you're being prompted that it wasn't installed,or if you were installing it yourself,so I'll give you the instructions to get there,just in case. :)
Open Spybot start center,checkmark advanced mode,click Settings(saying Yes to UAC,if applicable),then click the Live Protection tab.You can try installing it again from there.
For 2,try opening the Internet Protection tab,and if Use Spybot Proxy is checkmarked,try unchecking it,then click Apply and Ok,then try checking for updates again.
