The following instructions have been created to help you to get rid of "Ad.Jotzey" manually.
Use this guide at your own risk; software should usually be better suited to remove malware, since it is able to look deeper.

Removal Instructions:

Files:

Please use Windows Explorer or another file manager of your choice to locate and delete these files.

The file at "<$PROGRAMFILES>\Jotzey\bin\JotzeyBAApp.dll".
The file at "<$PROGRAMFILES>\Jotzey\bin\plugins\Jotzey.BroStats.dll".
The file at "<$PROGRAMFILES>\Jotzey\bin\plugins\Jotzey.BrowserAdapterS.dll".
The file at "<$PROGRAMFILES>\Jotzey\bin\plugins\Jotzey.FFUpdate.dll".
The file at "<$PROGRAMFILES>\Jotzey\Jotzey.ico".
The file at "<$PROGRAMFILES>\Jotzey\Jotzeybho.dll".
The file at "<$PROGRAMFILES>\Jotzey\updateJotzey.exe".
Make sure you set your file manager to display hidden and system files. If Ad.Jotzey uses rootkit technologies, use the rootkit scanner integrated into Spybot-S&D (http://www.safer-networking.org/index.php?page=spybotsd) 2.x or our Total Commander anti-rootkit plugins (http://forums.spybot.info/downloads.php?id=3).
You will have to use a global search for files without a name specified. Be extra careful, because just the name might not be enough to identify files!

Important: There are more files that cannot be safely described in simple words. Please use Spybot-S&D (http://www.safer-networking.org/index.php?page=spybotsd) to remove them.

Folders:

The directory at "<$PROGRAMFILES>\Jotzey\bin".
The directory at "<$PROGRAMFILES>\Jotzey".

Registry:

You can use regedit.exe (included in Windows) to locate and delete these registry entries.

Delete the registry key "{0eee4d6d-0a0a-4fae-8188-668c5d8f96d2}" at "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\TypeLib\".
Delete the registry key "{4e1ca9b1-c816-4b8a-bd4c-546fbc5008de}" at "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\TypeLib\".
Delete the registry key "{63a20a19-b1e6-4355-ab4c-28553af40ca2}" at "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\".
Delete the registry key "{63a20a19-b1e6-4355-ab4c-28553af40ca2}" at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Browser Helper Objects\".
Delete the registry key "{cdf368cb-6a2f-460a-8abf-51538de43dec}" at "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\".
Delete the registry key "{cdf368cb-6a2f-460a-8abf-51538de43dec}" at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Browser Helper Objects\".
Delete the registry key "Jotzey" at "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\".
Delete the registry key "Jotzey" at "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall".
Delete the registry key "Update Jotzey" at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Services\".
Delete the registry key "Update Jotzey" at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet002\Services\".
Delete the registry key "Update Jotzey" at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet003\Services\".
Delete the registry value "id" at "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Jotzey\".
Delete the registry value "iid" at "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Jotzey\".
Delete the registry value "is" at "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Jotzey\".
If Ad.Jotzey uses rootkit technologies, use our RegAlyzer (http://www.safer-networking.org/index.php?page=regalyzer), RootAlyzer (http://forums.spybot.info/downloads.php?id=8) or our Total Commander anti-rootkit plugins (http://forums.spybot.info/downloads.php?id=3).
